In 2011, I bought a small stone house on the lower slopes of the Gwrhyd Mountain overlooking the village of Ynysmeudwy, near Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley of South West Wales U.K.
Various outbuildings have been converted into working spaces including a small stone carving studio, a conservatory for drawing & another larger workshop for the kiln, hand building in clay & also painting.
A student from the group workshop painting the view from the garden.
I run Art Workshops here. Students can learn all the different drawing & painting techniques, work on clay hand building or carve wood & stone.
I can now offer a room large enough for two people to stay. They can attend Art Workshops or explore the Gower Coastline & The Black Mountain & The Brecon Beacons National Park.
I can also offer vegetarian food.
Below are additional photographs around Berllan Las, my home and studio, near Pontardawe.
